Pharma’s Conundrum: Designing Beyond Concept. Part 1 - Productive iteration

At first I felt like I was doing something terribly wrong, but in the aftermath, I see if really did help the look overall..

I was compensated for my time in writing this post, however all thoughts, opinions, and over-zealous enthusiasm for the upcoming summer season are all my own!I wanted to take a minute to let you all know about a new book coming out next Tuesday (March 22, 2016) that I think a lot of you will really be inspired by called.“Crafting With Nature”.

Pharma’s Conundrum: Designing Beyond Concept. Part 1 - Productive iteration

It’s written by my friend Amy Renea who you might know from the blog.A Nest For All Seasons., and it’s the perfect book to dive into at exactly this time of year when spring is just about to start springing and we’re all starting to really enjoy all the little things that make spending time in nature so special.. She sent me an advance copy of the book so I could give you all a little sneak peek and share it with you if I liked it, which of course I did!

I really love how Crafting With Nature is sort of half garden book and half crafting book. She talks about different easy ways to grow your own crafting supplies, and what to make with the things you’ve grown, but there are also sections about gathering things from nature and even the grocery store for making your nature-inspired crafts!

I love any book, blog, or other publication, where I can read it and learn something that I can put to use immediately!.

Along with the book, Amy sent me some extra little goodies to get me started on some of the projects like some fabric scraps, some beet seeds, and some dried lavender.I just love these cute little handles.

They’re perfect for our farmhouse.. I’m really excited about the Pfister “Pforever Seal” no leak guarantee. And not just because of the Pfun name.

🙂 In an old house like this, we’re always a little paranoid about things leaking/crumbling/breaking all around us.The faucet is one less thing to worry about.. I’ll be ready to show you the full bathroom project, and all the scary before and after pictures shortly, but for now, let’s just enjoy the view from the kitchen.. Before (actually, during):.
