Transforming prisons, transforming futures

There’s no need to take everything down and spray it and scrub it like a crazy person if you just stay on top of the dust problem on a regular basis by giving your windows and their screens just a quick little vacuum every now and then!.

Hope this little tip proves to be useful to you on your next bathroom renovation!I can’t think of too many other places that you would need to cut a big hole like this, but if you ever run into that problem in the future, you’ll be ready! So, you see, we have this door in our dining room.

It’s really big and plain and ugly and it leads to the master bedroom. There are a ton of really great DIY solutions that I could do to dress this door up, but we’re planning on changing it out eventually and actually moving it so that the doorway goes into the bedroom a couple of feet and leaves a little alcove there in the dining room. The bedroom is big and the dining room is small, so it makes sense.

Anyway, I may still fancy the door up one day if inspiration strikes but for now, I just decided to stick a wreath on it to fill some of that blank space and call it done.So that’s the story of where the need for this bow came from..

I thought it would be neat if I could try to figure out a way to make a nice bow out of some of the really cute fabrics that I have in my stash and I’m pretty excited with what I came up with!.

Here’s how you can make one too!.You really do need a few different tricks up your sleeve to kill all your different weeds, but luckily I’ve got some of those in store for you soon.

Salting only takes 20 seconds though, so it’s worth a shot if you’ve got a walkway that looks like mine.. Where we live, the climate is quite humid, so the salt really clumped up and stuck exactly where I put it, but if it’s dryer where you are, you may want to sprinkle the ground with some water first so the salt doesn’t blow away.. Something else you should know: This salt trick is a little controversial in the organic gardening world according to my reading. If you over-salt your yard, then you risk the salt leaching into the ecosystem and harming all kinds of plants, animals, and water systems.

My thinking is this: Harmful chemical weed killers do that anyway, but they’re also harmful to you.At least you know that salt is safe for your family.
