So then I came across this idea on Pinterest.

I was definitely anticipating some pumpkins being thrown my way, but it looks like I was wrong!ready to get into the holiday spirit and so.

I. Let’s do this thing!.Do you have a favorite color scheme for Christmas decorating?I really don’t and it makes things pretty crazy around here sometimes.

I love the reds, the blues, the greens, the golds, the silvers, the sparklies, the rustic country stuff, everything.Just not all at once, which is usually what ends up happening.

So I thought maybe I’d try to make each room a different color or mood or theme or whatever.

And this mudroom is my RED room!.I thought I would use something fresh-smelling, but that also has some cleaning/bad stuff-killing properties, so I used tea tree oil.

Some people really hate the smell, but I think it smells nice and fresh.Cinnamon oil would be a good choice too.. Everything got tossed together in a big mason jar and mixed up really well..

The next step is just to sprinkle it over the area you want to clean and leave it on for an hour.. You can also take a cloth and rub it in a bit, but I didn’t.I just let it do its thing.. After about an hour, everything gets vacuumed up.
