Whisking constantly, slowly add the chocolate mixture to the egg yolks until everything is combined nicely.. Pour the mixture into the baking dishes of your choice, cover them all tightly with foil, and place them in a larger baking dish or tin.

I just wanted to share a quick little before and after with you today.I did this a couple of weeks ago and it just brightened my whole outlook in the livingroom.Back in the day, about 8 years ago when Kennedy was a baby, Chris used to build a lot of basic furniture pieces for me because, well, we had none.

This was back in the day before I even knew what a blog was or that other people did this too!I really wanted a console table for behind the sofa, so Chris put this one together for me for about $40.

Well, it’s seen better days, but I’m still not quite ready to get rid of it.The taping took maybe 10 minutes, the painting, about 20.

Seriously, what took me so long to do this?.Well, you’ll notice that it’s still not quite done, because it could use some quarter round to finish up the bottom of the baseboards there..

The thing is, I waited so long to do this project, that we’re actually just in the process of getting ready to put down the real floors in there.. No more hideous yellow carpet for this room!That also means no more painted paper floor, but I still just had to try it out and see how it would work.
