Only without the sugar and carbs overload feeling.
This thought happens often enough, and when it does, I know it’s probably time to grab my camera and go for a little walk before I start with my chores and projects for the day..I don’t think it had much to do with the mounds of grass clippings left after we finally got a chance to cut our lawn with the brand new John Deere we got to buy a few weeks ago, but maybe that’s part of it.. And the fact that Kennedy gets to grow up here, playing in this sandbox down by the creek.
Maybe that has something to do with it too.. Or the fact that the few bulbs that I got around to planting in the Fall are all coming up and doing better than any others that I’ve attempted ever.. And where I didn’t plant any….A whole field of cheery yellow flowers showed up anyway.. And I get to be one of the people who gets genuine joy out of seeing a field full of dandelions..If this makes you nervous, don’t worry.
This is at the far edge of our property, and hopefully we will be putting chickens here anyway one day.Plus I really don’t mind them.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that even though there are tons of areas of this house that I think are ugly and drive me crazy, there are also a lot of areas that I. know.
are ugly, but that I still manage to enjoy.. Every once in awhile I get lucky and notice all of these little things all at once and then I realize “I live here.I’ve been waiting to be able to show you this corner of Kennedy’s room and it’s finally now at the point where I thought it would be done.Doesn’t it just look like it needs to be there?.
The sign is cut from plywood, with a smooth painted low VOC finish on the front and the raw wood on the back.I love the detail of the stained edges too..
When Kristen sends you your sign, it will come with two pre-drilled holes for hanging.. She’ll also send along these two super long silver-toned push pins that you can use to hang the sign on your wall..The signs are super lightweight so the push pins are really all it takes.
