It’s a back hall off of the master bedroom leading out to the deck.

I had a whole giant bag that I was saving from last year just in case I thought of a use for them.Kennedy loves to play with them, but honestly they mostly just make a big mess all over the house when the cats get into them and I’m not so fond of that..

I thought I might try making something out of them that would actually look nice sitting on a table instead of making me feel all frustrated.. so I put them to use!.

I just cut 4 one inch strips and then smooshed them onto the eggs using hot glue. And then you’ll just never get around to tackling the job because that whole scenario will just never happen.

Having materials on hand that you’re not afraid to ruin and throw away if need be, or paint that you’re not afraid to cover up at a later date if you change your mind, gives you such a sense of freedom and really, you’ll just end up painting more often and creating more rooms that you love!At best, I use a medium-priced angled brush for certain cutting-in jobs, and even then, it’s mostly just because it makes me feel fancy.

I have to admit that any of those higher priced brushes don’t make me love my paint anymore than the dollar store brushes do.. It’s 2015.Honestly, paint technology is pretty great across the board.
