Best of all, my food borne illness paranoia that usually forces me into town to eat at restaurants, or to live off of stale muffins really didn’t have a chance to show up at all!.Oh, our poor neglected garden.Between camping trips, soccer games, baseball games and life, we just haven’t had the time to dedicate to it this year.
It looks nothing like our garden did at this time last year.. Our garden early last June.
Last year, it was a thing of beauty.I did a really thin third coat just to be safe, but I don’t really think it was needed..
The can says to wait 4 hours between coats, but honestly, in all of my chalkboarding experience, I’ve never waited more than 20 minutes and they’ve always turned out perfectly. It really was a quick and painless project.
I added in some simple ceramic knobs to finish if off..I let it dry for a few hours, then I came back to it.
