In the future, we’re going to do some built-in storage on this wall with some open shelving exposing the brick, but for now just some trim around rough edges of the door way will do the trick..I started gathering a few supplies recently and I’m pretty excited about where this is going..
I have a few different fabrics that I’m considering too for pillows and stuff like that.I don’t know anything for sure though yet.I feel like every time I add something or change something, the whole direction and mood of the room changes and then I have to rethink everything.
Anyone else ever get that?.The only thing I know for sure is that no matter what I do, It had better look good with Chuck laying on it!.

Symmetry makes it Special (and Alliteration makes it Awesome).Having symmetrical elements in the room, like the chairs on either side of the shelf, along with the big photos, makes it feel a little more put-together and finished.
It’s an easy trick that works if you have a space that’s feeling a little more like a college crash-pad that a grown-up home for a family..Things grouped in threes feel tidy.
