This little trick today comes to you courtesy of Chris, who decided he was going to stain the deck after we finished re-building it.I honestly didn’t even think it was worth staining, because I’ve always thought of deck staining as a really really big job, and I honestly just didn’t think it was worth it.

So when you think of staining a deck, if you’re like me, you think of slaving away for hours in the hot sun, dipping your brush or your rag into the can of stain and then slopping it onto the deck and rubbing it in, square inch by square inch.

It’s kind of a painful thought, isn’t it?.It really has made a huge difference in how easy things are to keep clean around here!

I shared a few more of the clever ways that I’ve been using this machine around the house the other day too,.so check that one out.
